Owner, Yoko Chapman, has worked extensively as a creative director, brand consultant and strategist, stylist, writer, editor, publisher, graphic designer, web designer, trend consultant and event coordinator with the Winnipeg business community for over 19 years. After a 14-year career in market research, Yoko owned and operated Pulp & Circumstance, a sustainable stationery design studio. In 2007, she launched Greenvites™ Eco-Stationery, the first 100% post consumer waste, FSC-certified and biodegradable wedding stationery line. Later that year, she spearheaded the development of Eco Luxe Event Design Group, Winnipeg’s first collective of like-minded businesses offering eco-friendly products and services. After a successful run with Pulp & Circumstance, moving to Ayoko Design Web Print was a natural progression. In 2011, her strong connection and genuine interest in the local business community led her to publish Ayoko Magazine, which evolved into aDesigned Magazine with the addition of commercial and residential interior design services in 2018.
